Godalming Minster is looking for an Assistant Manager to work alongside our Café Manager and volunteers, helping make the Yew Tree Café a welcoming, safe and inclusive place where people enjoy good coffee, good food, find friendship and feel they belong.

Part Time 16 hours per week over 2 days: to be worked 2 of these 3 days each week – Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday.

Wednesday and Thursday hours 8/9am-4/5pm (7.5 hours). Saturday hours 9.30-3pm (5.5 hours).

Annual Salary £10,850 (£13 per hour / FTE £25,435)

The Opportunity

Our Minster vision is to grow deeper in faith, bolder in sharing the Gospel and brighter in our community.  The café helps bring this vision to life through everyday hospitality, caring relationships and opportunities to connect with the wider life of the church.  You’ll help with the smooth day-to-day running of the café, maintain high standards of quality and service, and encourage and support our volunteer team. You’ll also contribute to its growing life of welcome, pastoral care, prayer and Christian mission.
