Teenagers at a recent “Stuffing” Party

CHRISTMAS HAMPERS

*Please drop off donations for the hampers at any Godalming Minster church or the Yew Tree Café before Mon 16 Dec.*

Once again we are co-ordinating hampers for people in need in the community, and the need grows greater year on year. We are working with the Foodbank and The Cellar Camino Café to support people this Christmas.

4 ways to help

Lots of people enjoy being involved in this initiative every year, and a large team of volunteers are very much needed to make it happen. You can help in the following ways:

Donate items for the hampers

We aim to make the hampers a real treat and show of love for recipients who might not be able to afford the nicer things at Christmas. It is especially appreciated if the items are from the luxury range rather than value range.

Print the shopping list

You may also like to add small wrapped presents (please include age and sex of the children they are intended for) and a Christmas card.

Make the hampers

Please collect flat fruit trays and wrap them inside and out with Christmas paper. Leave them in church before 16 December.

Stuff

Hampers will be prepared at the annual “Stuffing” Party, by the youth group and other volunteers on 16 Dec at 7.30pm. If you are free to help, please come along to Godalming Minster Brighton Road. Christmassy refreshments provided!

Deliver

Volunteers to deliver hampers between 17-20 Dec.
