How to get involved in Alpha

Running an Alpha course is a real team effort and we really do need as much help as possible – there are lots of ways you can get involved…

Group Leaders:

People willing to lead or help lead a discussion group on the course.

Introductory Dinner:

Help needed to set up and lay tables / People needed to provide puddings.

Set-up for the course sessions:

Arrive 7.00pm: Set up chairs and tables / Lay tables / Set up projector/screen/CD player if possible.

Clear-up for the course sessions:

Arrive 8.30pm: Clear tables / Washing-up / Clear away tables and chairs.

Cooks for the course sessions:

Four cooks are needed per session: Meals plans have been prepared for each week and cooks will be given simple recipes to follow. Meals will be cooked at home and brought to the venue at 7.45pm. Dishes will be washed and returned to church for cooks to collect on the following Sunday. Others are needed to bring e.g. bread, salad, yoghurt, fruit etc.
