Nexus

On Thursday 3rd November, Mark Pateman and Penny Naylor will talk to us about their successful collaboration with Waverley Council on the Befriending Network. Their aim is to address loneliness and social isolation by providing friendship and support to people of all ages, but particularly the vulnerable elderly, who would benefit from receiving a regular visitor. Come and hear about this friendly group; perhaps you’d like to become a befriender! We meet in the Church Centre at 8.00pm and there’ll be drinks and nibbles before their talk starts. We look forward to seeing you. All welcome!
