A community, a family, and somewhere you can belong! Godalming Minster is a Christian community which serves its area to share the gospel (good news of Jesus) through worship, teaching, and care. Established in 2024, the Minster united four churches, each with their own rich history and traditions. Now we’re all on a journey together: to fulfill our common purpose of following Jesus, loving people and renewing faith.
Our regular congregations span the contemporary, Charismatic, 1662 BCP, choral tradition, classic and “Muddy” Church in the Park, so that everyone can find a worshipping expression within a shared DNA of evangelical-charismatic preaching and teaching.
You’ll find all sorts of people alongside you – each valued and celebrated equally by different groups and activities. Church isn’t a spectator sport, and we encourage everyone to participate. There’s an energy and attitude of openness to experiment to meet new needs creatively. Everything we do is underpinned by prayer and rigorous safeguarding, health and safety procedures.
